Overview
AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a dynamic and energetic full‑time Pediatric Surgery leader to join our team. This role builds on a strong practice within the Central Florida division with programmatic development, clinical quality, performance improvement, and outpatient clinic growth.
Responsibilities
Programmatic development and clinical quality and performance improvement.
Full time call coverage with APP support (no trauma, no ECMO at Tampa). New physician will grow outpatient clinic practice and build community physician relationships with marketing support.
Provide coverage to our full‑time surgeon in Orlando.
Requirements
Fellowship training in Pediatric Surgery.
Board certification in Pediatric Surgery through American Board of Surgery.
Broad surgical technical skills.
Willingness to build the program.
Patient‑centered focus.
Excellent communication skills.
Practice Description This employment opportunity includes second call coverage, competitive compensation, malpractice coverage, paid leave, CME days, 403b retirement, health insurance, and relocation allowance. The practice is part of AdventHealth Medical Group with 900+ physicians in 60+ specialties.
