Infusion Financial Representative
Location: Millard Fillmore Suburban Location of Job: US:NY:Williamsville Work Type: Full-Time Shift 1 Job Description Under the direction of the assigned Site Supervisor or Manager performs activities to ensure timely and accurate posting, authorizations for treatment and abstracting or patients charges and data entry functions related to front-end failures that hinder our ability to secure reimbursement. Education And Credentials HS - High School Diploma or GED required. AAS - Associate of Applied Science Business or Health Care related required. Experience Two (2) years of charge posting and abstracting experience, working knowledge of the authorization process and working with insurance companies preferably in a hospital outpatient environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Knowledge of ICD-9CM and CPT-4 coding. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages accurately. Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Working knowledge of department required. Data Entry skills test required. Working Conditions Department: MFS Infusion Center Standard Hours Bi-Weekly: 75.00 Weekend/Holiday Requirement: No On Call Required: No With Rotation: No Scheduled Work Hours: 8am-4pm Work Arrangement: Onsite Union Code: N00 - Non Union KH Requisition ID#: 12733 Grade: HR207 Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly Salary Range: $21.07 - $28.98 *Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
