Management Analyst
As a Management Analyst, this position is located in an ANG Flying Wing in the Maintenance Analysis section of the Maintenance Operations Flight. The primary purpose of this position is to provide information and analyses to all levels of management using the assessments to answer the why, how, when and where questions. Duties include: Retrieving and analyzing maintenance data, presenting results to management. Interpreting findings from maintenance data and the use of statistical techniques. Identifying trends and significant deviations from plans, schedules, and workload estimates. Analyzing deficiencies in areas such as material consumption and training, workload, scheduling, management, and maintenance resources use. Analyzing impact on the maintenance mission and the results of corrective actions. Preparing written reports of analyses and studies. Capturing specific data monthly for inclusion into the Aircraft Predictive Model (APM) requirement. Designing summary reports to meet recurring management needs. Controlling, managing, and maintaining the Maintenance Information System(s) (MIS). Developing policies and procedures for MIS application within maintenance activities. Overseeing the identification and correction of file errors within the database. Controlling, developing, and coordinating maintenance data systems and requirements. Determining data processing requirements and relating functional aspects to specific hardware and software capabilities. Controlling automated management product retrieval and advising maintenance supervision on automated information use. Identifying data system problems, coordinating with data automation monitors, and submitting system deficiency reports. Identifying new information requirements, submitting information system requirement documents, and coordinating with data system development services for implementing new programs. Managing the Data Integrity Team (DIT) program for the Maintenance Group Commander and providing updates and metrics to maintenance supervision. Responsible for building, analyzing, and programming system queries to generate local and command level data reports for consumption and information generation in multiple systems. Senior level requests ranging from senior wing leadership, the NGB, and MAJCOM levels. Conducting special studies to assess Health of the Unit Readiness (HUR). Performing in-depth comprehensive analysis of complex and prioritized unit readiness issues. Developing a semi-annual report for presentation to senior leadership. Developing complex problem solutions to address and resolve readiness issues as the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR), while utilizing specific training and knowledge to develop a comprehensive readiness management plan. Collecting specific metrics for inclusion into the 7401 monthly report, while searching for trends and validating accuracy. Analyzing performance data to determine manpower, equipment, and facilities maintenance capabilities. Providing in-depth analysis of maintenance manning and equipment, material and facility limitations to determine the impact each has on unit and mission effectiveness. Isolating trends and determining material and personnel efficiency and effectiveness. Developing methods for improving maintenance planning and personnel efficiency and effectiveness. Developing methods for improving maintenance planning and programming procedures to ensure optimum use of maintenance resources. Requirements include: National Guard Membership is required.
