About the Practice Treeline Wealth Management is an Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisory Practice in Minnetonka, MN. We help clients pursue retirement and long‑term financial goals through comprehensive planning and wealth management—retirement planning, estate planning, small business planning, and intergenerational strategies. We’re a team of nine with 4–5 advisors, and we pride ourselves on integrity, professionalism, and a strong team dynamic.

Why This Role We are looking to add a motivated, growth‑minded Financial Advisor to our team. The ideal candidate is a “hunter” type—someone who is still hungry to grow, build relationships, and contribute to the long‑term success of the practice. Bringing an existing book of business/assets is a plus, but not required for the right fit.

What You’ll Do

Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand goals and deliver tailored planning strategies

Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow‑through

Collaborate closely with internal team members (including investment/portfolio support) to build recommendations and deliver a high‑quality client experience

Grow the practice through new client acquisition and asset gathering

Maintain professionalism and follow all compliance requirements and standards within an Ameriprise practice

Ideal Background

Fully licensed (example: Series 7 and applicable licenses required for an advisor role)

5–6 years of financial planning/advisory experience preferred

Experience building and/or managing a book of business (clients/assets) strongly preferred

Strong communication skills and confidence in client‑facing settings

Able to work well under pressure while managing multiple prioritiesTeam‑oriented mindset and high standards of professionalism

Motivated, goal‑driven, and growth‑minded

Compensation This role includes a base salary plus incentives/bonus potential based on measurements such as bringing on new clients, assets, and leadership contributions. (Exact structure varies based on experience and is discussed during the interview process.)
