is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our growing Human Resources team. While reporting to the Director of Human Resources and DEI, as a Human Resources Generalist, you will use sound judgement, discretion, and confidentiality to contribute to the operations of the team. While your responsibilities will touch on a broad array of Human Resources areas, recruiting, interviewing, and on-boarding will be key focus areas for this role. Responsibilities can also include off-boarding; responding to routine employee questions; assisting with benefits, leave and HRIS system administration; compliance; DEI; and employee and labor relations. Competitive Pay:

Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions. Conducts new hire orientation and separation off-boarding, including I-9, benefits enrollment, tax forms, exit interviews, separation notices, etc. Performs routine tasks necessary to execute human resource programs including but not limited to policy implementation, HRIS administration, file maintenance, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and HR related training, including but not limited to the annual training on the prevention of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Addresses general employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Director. Conducts routine employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Director. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and best practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Reviews policies and practices Identify areas for process improvement Assists Director with implementation and coordination of employee engagement and DEI programs as well as general employee communications. Assists Director with investigation and disciplinary proceedings involving complex or highly sensitive matters. Performs other duties as assigned. Employment Standards:
Bachelors degree in a related field plus one (1) year of experience in Human Resources; or Associates degree in related field plus two (2) years experience in Human Resources; or High school diploma (or equivalent) plus four (4) years experience in Human Resources; or A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR is desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proven familiarity with federal, state, and local employment related laws and regulations. Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to think analytically and creatively to resolve problems. High level of attention to detail and follow-through. Proven ability to adapt, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
