ABC offers a comprehensive array of services including one-to-one in-home therapy, social skills programs, community programs, specifically targeting deficits that impact individuals with autism. Each service program is tailored exclusively to meet the needs of both the individual and the family.
Job Summary The Billing Associate will provide cross-departmental support to the Clinical, Scheduling and Billing teams. Main functions of this position include client relations, insurance provider coordination, and employee scheduling. The Billing Associate position is ideal for an applicant looking to develop professionally in the supportive team environment of a growing company.
Duties & Responsibilities
Interface with current and potential clients
Process insurance applications
Request new & ongoing authorizations and coordinate changes with new and existing insurance company contracts
Maintain clinical & employee files
Coordinate with BCBA supervisors for progress reports and required services data
Assist with insurance and internal compliance audits
Additional responsibilities as assigned by ABC Leadership
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred but not required
Competency in Google G-Suite applications as well as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with billing software preferred but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer facing experience
Ability to multitask and work both independently and part of a team
