About the Role We are hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC system design and develop a growing mechanical design team. This position requires both technical excellence and leadership ability, as well as experience designing systems for institutional, healthcare, and federal projects.
Responsibilities
Design HVAC systems and perform energy/load calculations
Conduct system surveys and write technical specifications
Oversee QA/QC and ensure code compliance
Manage and mentor junior engineers
Lead client meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
PE license (preferred)
Minimum 10 years of HVAC design experience
Revit, AutoCAD, and Trace 700/IES proficiency
2+ years of project management experience (preferred)
Required Skills
Technical excellence in HVAC design
Leadership ability
Experience with institutional, healthcare, and federal projects
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
