Assembly Technician

to join our hands‑on manufacturing team, supporting the assembly of custom‑engineered heat transfer solutions used in demanding global applications. This is an opportunity to grow your mechanical skills, work with cutting‑edge equipment, and contribute directly to high‑quality products shipped worldwide.

Hours & Pay

Starting Pay:

$21.00 per hour

Available Shifts:

Rotating Shift:

Monday‑Friday, 6:00 AM‑2:00 PM and 2:00 PM‑10:00 PM (alternating weekly)

Midnight Shift:

Sunday‑Thursday, 10:00 PM‑6:00 AM

Bonus:

Eligible for a performance‑based bonus

Daily Tasks

Assemble MESABI heat exchangers and related components

Install grommets using grommet guns and tubing

Assemble fans, motors, belts, RTTS exchangers, and capture seal oil coolers

Build shipping crates using hand and power tools

Test heat exchangers to ensure quality and performance

Assist with training by observing, guiding, and supporting team members

Collaborate with assemblers, supervisors, and production leadership to meet production goals

Support other production areas as needed when qualified

Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area

Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor

Travel domestically or internationally as required by specific projects

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with

at least one year of work experience

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools

Ability to operate forklifts when required

Exposure to blueprint reading and precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)

Ability to learn quickly, problem‑solve, and work independently or as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Regular and reliable attendance

Ability to pass a pre‑employment math test, physical, drug screen, and background check

Preferred experience with ERP systems (such as Epicor) and Lean Manufacturing

Physical Requirements

Wear required PPE, including eye protection, hearing protection, steel‑toed boots, and a company‑provided uniform

Lift a minimum of

50 pounds

Stand on concrete surfaces for

8‑10 hours per shift

Work in high‑heat environments

Use power tools while standing, bending, crouching, climbing ladders, or working overhead
