About The Position
The Senior Staffing Specialist is responsible for processing transactions related to employment such as recruiting, onboarding, transfers, pay adjustments, and separations. The Senior Staffing Specialist is responsible for providing a higher level of support to various stakeholders regarding human resources (HR) practices; providing information to employees regarding policies, regulations and contract language; addressing a variety of issues and/or providing general support to HR leadership; assisting in ensuring that HR functions conform to all applicable regulatory requirements; and recommending process and departmental improvements.
A successful candidate for this position should possess an advanced understanding of basic math and calculation skills with the ability to process complex pay situations. In addition, this person should have meticulous attention to detail, exceptional time management and ability to track dates and deadlines and provide needed follow-up. Lastly, this person should have excellent oral and written communication skills, superb interpersonal relations skills, strong multi‑tasking, prioritization and organization skills, in addition to critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.

Hourly rate of pay:
Starting pay is $26.69 per hour to $34.25 per hour depending upon previous relevant experience. Actual starting pay rate will be determined after a review of the work experience provided on the job application.
