Obstetrician Needed - Lead Midwifery Group - Stamford Health/Oula Collaboration

• Guide a team of certified nurse-midwives in a model that blends OB/GYN and midwifery care
• Beautiful new clinic opened in Norwalk, CT I
• Oula patients experience 62% lower preterm birth rates and 29% lower C-section rates than NYC benchmarks
• Deliver in Stamford Hospitals newly renovated maternity ward

 Position Highlights:

• 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient
• 2 laborist shifts/week + 1-1.5 days outpatient + 1 admin day
• Supervise and collaborate with midwives
• OB/GYN hospitalist call (1 weekend/month)
• Teach OB/GYN residents -we are a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons 

 Qualifications:

• Board-certified in OB/GYN
• 4+ years of attending experience
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Experience with midwifery models a must
