Medical Director of Psychiatric Emergency Screening Services

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is currently seeking an experienced, board-certified Adult Psychiatrist to fill the role as Medical Director of Psychiatric Emergency Screening Services at Community Medical Center (CMC) in Toms River, NJ and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (MMC-SC) in Lakewood, NJ.

The Medical Director of PESS for CMC and MMC-SC will be responsible for the coordination of the Medical Staff and clinical staffing activities and performing direct patient care within the Psychiatric Emergency Screening Service sites. He/she will direct and participate in team meetings, treatment planning, disposition, and other certifying requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $315,000 to $505,000 per year.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Qualifications:

• ABPN board-certified in Adult Psychiatry
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
• Ideally experienced working in an inpatient setting
• High energy, adaptable, and ability to work on a team
