Job Description
The Senior Technical Solutions Consultant will actively drive the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, combining technical knowledge with sales skills to remove objections related to technology infrastructure, scalability and security. The role also mentors less experienced technical staff, uncovers business requirements, and develops solution architecture that leverages Sage Intaccts solutionsincluding advanced modulesto address customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Present the benefits of Sage Intaccts solutions, including advanced modules, to all levelsfrom line?of?business managers and IT managers to developers and executive leadership.
- Develop solution architectures that demonstrate Sage Intaccts best?in?class strategy.
- Mentor application engineers and serve as lead for developing proofs of concept using Sage Intacct Web Services APIs, Platform Product, and integrations with third?party applications.
- Lead discussions on technology infrastructure, scalability, and security, providing best?practice recommendations for integrating systems with Sage Intacct.
- Meet quarterly and annual quota objectives in collaboration with Corporate Sales Representatives.
- Assist the marketing department in conducting webinars and product sessions at user conferences.
- Provide input to other cross?functional departments on prospect requests and product enhancements.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field; MBA a plus.
- 7+ years as a solutions consultant, preferably with accounting or financial software application experience.
- 46 years of experience with web?based programming languages such as PHP, Python, Perl, JavaScript and XML.
- 46 years of experience in a customer?interfacing support role.
- Excellent understanding of database technologies, system security and integration techniques using web services.
- Legacy ERP technology background and exposure to standard accounting modules (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing) highly desired.
- Hands?on experience with SaaS applications such as SalesForce.com highly desired.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem?solving and critical?thinking skills to identify root causes and solve difficult problems.
