About The Role We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced
Research Consultant
to serve as the critical bridge between our product, our sales team, and our customers/prospects. You will be partnering with the sales team as the ultimate product and process expert, translating complex features into clear, compelling strategic solutions for our prospects’ research challenges. You will also be the architect of our internal product training programs, ensuring our entire team is equipped to deliver exceptional customer value.
Key Responsibilities Pre‑Sales Consulting & Demonstrations
Lead Product Demos: Conduct compelling, tailored product demonstrations for prospects, focusing on how our platform specifically addresses their user research pain points and business objectives.
Consultative Selling: Act as a strategic advisor to prospects, diving deep into their research methodologies and use cases to customize demonstrations and solution proposals.
Technical Authority: Serve as the product expert in the sales cycle, answering technical questions, handling objections, and helping to scope potential solutions.
Product Education & Training
New Hire Training: Design, develop, and conduct comprehensive initial training for all new sales and customer success hires, ensuring rapid product proficiency.
Ongoing Product Training: Structure and deliver regular, high‑impact training sessions on new features, product updates, and best practices to keep the customer‑facing teams continually enabled.
Customer Success & Value Maximization
Strategic Consultations: Partner with the Customer Success team to provide advanced, strategic consulting sessions for existing, high‑value customers.
Maximize Product Value: Conduct deep‑dive sessions with customers to ensure they are using the product to its fullest potential, leading to higher adoption, retention, and potential expansion.
Feedback Loop: Act as a critical voice for customers, synthesizing feedback from demos and consultations to share with the Product Management and Marketing teams.
Qualifications
Experience: 3‑5+ years of experience in a Research, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Product Specialist, or similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
Product Expertise: Deep technical understanding of Research (Qualitative and Quantitative), UX Design, or Customer Experience (CX) principles and methodologies.
Communication: Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Instructional Design: Proven ability to design and conduct effective adult learning/training programs.
Sales Acumen: Experience supporting a sales process and understanding how to align product capabilities with quantifiable business outcomes.
Travel: Ability to travel regularly for client meetings, training, and company events.
