Who You Are As a
Central Credit Underwriter II , your opinion matters. You will be responsible for approving or declining consumer credit requests with underwriting authority of $100,000 to $1,000,000 or commercial credit requests with underwriting authority of $250,000 to $1,000,000. Beyond that, this role is about building relationships and providing top‑quality service with integrity, caring, and excellence.
What You’ll Do
Approve/decline or make recommendation for alternative financing within established loan authority
Mentor, train and coach bankers
Assist in training and mentoring Underwriter I’s
Act as the department liaison
Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve win‑win outcomes
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in lending, preferably within underwriting
Proven record of success in an underwriting environment
Ability to understand cash flow, financial statements and leverage ratios
Ability to analyze financial statements and evaluate cash flow, capital and collateral adequacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
