General Summary The Foreman functions as a crew leader or team lead on job projects or smaller jobs, supporting the Superintendent or Project Manager with field personnel oversight and operations.
Preferred Job Skills
Strong commercial and industrial electrical background.
Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing sophisticated test equipment (DMM, Megger, PQM, UCT, IR Camera, etc.).
Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
Ability to safely operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Able to demonstrate necessary computer and keyboard skills.
OSHA 30 Hour, CPR, and First Aid trained.
Ability to manage customer and company‑specific information and documentation in an organized manner.
Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
Must be an effective and professional communicator, both written and verbally.
Able to be on twenty‑four hour call on a rotating basis, as needed.

Responsibilities
Lead and direct all field personnel involved in the assigned project or task.
Plan projects or tasks in the most efficient and profitable manner.
Ensure all materials are ordered and received in a timely manner to ensure compliance.
Maintain personal tools as directed by leadership.
Enforce compliance with all guidelines provided in the Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, or Policy and Procedure Manual, requiring all field employees under leadership to do the same.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Valid state driver’s license.
OSHA 30 and CPR preferred; certifications as required.
High School Graduate/GED required.
Minimum of 6 years electrical experience preferred.
Working Conditions
Work in all elements (heat, cold, rain, snow) depending on location and time of year.
Required to have personal tools at all times (waist tool belt weighing approximately 30 lbs).
Perform ladder work and transport/relocate ladders unassisted.
Weight of personal items with tools must not exceed ladder rated capacity.
Work at various heights (up to 90 ft) using ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and other safe work areas.
Work in restricted areas (switch‑gear rooms, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces).
Wear personal protective equipment as required.
Work 40 hours per week plus overtime as required, including night shifts.
Required Physical/Mental Functions
Identify colors of wires and other items as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
Practice safe work procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Handbook.
Operate company truck with manual and automatic transmission.
Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, site directions, and written instructions.
Hearing and vision adequate (with or without correction).
Perform bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
Lifting objects up to 50 lbs, frequent lifting of up to 20 lbs.
Tolerate prolonged standing and foot movement.
Climb all types of ladders.
Perform repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
