Electrical Estimator
Location: Kansas City, Missouri.
Goliath Construction Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator who can turn blueprints and specifications into accurate, competitive numbers that help win projects and deliver outstanding results. With a strong balance of technical skill and strategic thinking, you’ll play a key role in ensuring each project is both high-quality and cost-effective.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed budgets and labor estimates for commercial electrical projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to develop complete bid packages.
Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams for accurate pricing.
Utilize estimating software to forecast costs, assess risks, and improve accuracy.
Advise project teams on manpower, scheduling, and materials.
Support handoff to project management with clear documentation and cost breakdowns.
Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in electrical construction estimating.
Strong analytical, organizational, and software skills (Excel and estimating tools).
Proven experience in labor/material cost analysis and financial planning.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) credential preferred but not required.
