Looking for compassionate and reliable elder care services in Yadkinville, North Carolina. It is important that the caregiver lives in Yadkinville or no more than a couple miles outside Yadkinville. Our family is seeking a dedicated and caring individual to support an elderly lady (84 yr old) with diabetes and memory issues who lives alone and needs assistance with dinner prep, checking on her taking meds and laundry (due to washing machine and dryer are located in the basement). This position is live-out and part-time, perfect for those who want to make a difference while maintaining a flexible schedule. Likely no more than 2 hours Monday - Friday late afternoon-early evening. Our primary goal is to ensure that our loved one receives attentive and respectful home care. Responsibilities will include assisting with meal prep, ensuing she is eating dinner, checking to be sure she has not forgotten medication, doing laundry as needed and providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. And help us keep eyes and ears on the situation between times we visit as we live 45 minutes away. We offer a competitive wage of $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
