Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist - IAT Level III and IAM Level III

Location: Eastern Range Cape Canaveral and Western Range, Vandenerg Infrastructure

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team and provide support for Eastern and Western range infrastructure, communications modernization, and system ATO (Authority to Operate) in a challenging and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years up to 15 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, with a focus on IAT Level III and IAM Level III responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for cybersecurity infrastructure, communications modernization, and system ATO processes on both Eastern and Western ranges.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security audits, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive data and systems from cyber attacks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic and security alerts to proactively address potential security incidents.
• Investigate security incidents and breaches, and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention.
• Stay up to date on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends to continuously improve security protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years to 15 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on IAT Level III and IAM Level III responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and technologies.
• Experience with range infrastructure, communications modernization, and system ATO processes is preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
