Your career opportunity The role covers CS Compute Mainframe across all Regions and will interface with other business areas and departments, including Cybersecurity, Group IBMz Support (ITID/CTO), Global Risk Domains, Internal and External Audit. The role holder will be part of a CS Compute Mainframe team of approximately 10 FTE, spread across the Group. What you’ll do Seek to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness in the processes and tooling as defined in the Mainframe (IBMz) Security Framework. Take an active part in adapting/changing practices to improve both controls and efficiency. The role holder should be expected to deal with ambiguous situations in a relatively autonomous manner and elevate where necessary but often have to find answers or the right way of doing things on their own as not everything will be in a Processes & Controls manual. Contribute to all related activities within the Mainframe (IBMz) domain. Define and manage the Mainframe (IBMz) projects and security processes. Drive security excellence within the domain. Define CS control requirements for the Mainframe (IBMz) security domain in policies and procedures. Operating a first line of defence to ensure compliance with policies and standards. What you need to have to succeed in this role Knowledge of subject matter, specifically in relation to Mainframe Systems - IBMz (zSeries). Previous experience in similar position. Ability to think creatively to deliver innovative solutions. Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries. Ability to engage others and work autonomously.
