An established Florida law firm is seeking an experienced
Word Processor
with a strong technical background and proven experience in law firm environments. The ideal candidate is a true word processing professional who thrives on precision, speed, and mastery of advanced document tools.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, edit, and finalize complex legal and business documents using advanced word processing software
Apply sophisticated formatting techniques, including tables, templates, automated systems, and document styles
Utilize document comparison tools and manage version control (e.g., Litera/Workshare Compare)
Create and maintain templates, forms, charts, exhibits, and visual aids
Perform redline comparisons and manage track changes for document revisions
Troubleshoot document issues, repair corrupted files, and provide technical support to end users
Convert documents across platforms while maintaining consistent formatting
Stay current with emerging legal technology and AI‑assisted tools to enhance efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of word processing experience in a law firm (large firm experience preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiarity with document management systems and legal technology tools (e.g., iManage, LegalBar, Best Authority, pdfDocs, DocuSign)
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and formatting standards
Ability to type at least 50 WPM accurately
Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading skills
Comfortable adapting to new technology and software

Competitive compensation in the $55K‑$75K range, depending on experience
