Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. What you'll do

Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicates effectively with team members; and remains flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.

Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future and seasonal production; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.

Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to inform production, training, and product quality decisions with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.

Be an Owner: Drives area performance; uses digital tools; manages high exposure and expectations; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers and assists customers according to company policies.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00*
