Overview
Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate at Sam's Club. Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $25.00/hr. The role focuses on preparing fresh food items daily for members by following recipes and maintaining warm, ready rotisserie chicken. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items for our members. You may juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while assisting members with bakery orders. A friendly, helpful attitude contributes to a positive shopping experience. You will contribute to helping a family have a great meal as part of a team that offers customers more of what they love, for less. Responsibilities
Ensure high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area. Keep shelves clean, monitor temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products. Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food. Maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area. What you’ll do
Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with team members; be flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; maintain quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; support peers and respond to customer needs per company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; maintain energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
