Overview ASRI is recruiting for the NAWCAD AID effort in Patuxent River, MD. The role focuses on environmental health and safety programs with compliance to regulatory agency guidelines and institutional policies, including NAVAIRINST 3710.1 series and DFARS 252.228-7001.
Responsibilities Duties:
Performs tasks under guidance.
Provides professional knowledge and expertise in the operation and support of environmental health and safety programs.
Coordinates and implements policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment in areas such as aviation material readiness, radiation safety, biological and chemical safety, environmental protection, physical safety, hangar safety, industrial hygiene, fall protection, and other safety procedures.
Supports departmental and institutional safety programs.
Performs Inspection and Quality Assurance (QA) for contractor programs applicable to the contract.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
U.S. Citizen.
Must have a DoD security clearance.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience in safety or QA activities under guidance (months/years: N/A).
Skills Needed
Excellent written and oral communication.
Additional Comments Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment.
