Mail Clerk III , TeleSolv Consulting
We are seeking a Mail Clerk III to manage the efficient flow of mail for our federal client. The role is based in Washington, DC and offers an hourly rate of $22.42.
Responsibilities
Organize, receive, open, and categorize mail daily.
Utilize automated equipment to open and sort mail.
Maintain incoming receipt logs and track items.
Support data entry ensuring key data elements are accurately recorded.
Verify data by comparing identifiers to source documents.
Organize documents for batching and client submission.
Assist with special projects such as batched processing and customer correspondence.
Scan and organize documents for batching.
Establish and maintain quality controls to ensure accuracy.
Examine federal record materials and perform preliminary categorization.
Adhere to housekeeping and safety policies.
Batch records for evaluation and final disposition.
Pay attention to detail and review records per client procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet collective goals.
Guide professional interactions with clients and onsite management.
Work with minimal oversight while meeting productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications
U.S. Citizen.
Active Tier 3 Public Trust or ability to obtain one.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
At least two (2) years of general administrative and mail sorting experience with customer interface.
At least two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio).
Background Investigation This position requires a background investigation conducted by the government, including criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history checks.
