Court Compliance Specialist CASES is a New York City agency focused on the intersection of behavioral health and the criminal justice system. The organization works to increase public safety through services that reduce crime and incarceration, improve behavioral health, promote recovery and rehabilitation, and create community opportunities. The Court services department facilitates court mandates or endorsed programming at all stages of the criminal legal process—providing alternatives to detention and incarceration that are facilitated by the NYS Office of Court Administration.

Shift Hours This full‑time position is Tuesday – Saturday from 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

Salary and Location The annual salary is $55,167. The office is located at 100 Centre Street, New York, NY 10013 and is easily accessible by public transportation.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain professional relationships with judges, prosecutors, defense counsel, and other court partners to facilitate program admissions and uphold CASES’ credibility in the Manhattan Criminal and Supreme Courts.

Provide mentorship and support to less experienced colleagues.

Assist with training new staff on all database and reporting procedures.

Ensure timely, complete, and accurate documentation in the case record database—including collecting and tracking participant demographics, intake, re‑arrest cases, court dates, and warrants for all court‑mandated programs.

Facilitate collaboration with SRP, ROAR, ATI, and NCS staff delivering services in borough‑based offices to ensure the court receives accurate information and participants satisfy supervision conditions.

Notify the court of participant non‑compliance (missing/absconded, failure to report, rearrested).

Provide culturally competent and anti‑racist services that reflect CASES’ policies and address the needs of diverse participants.

Maintain quality assurance of data entry tasks to ensure reporting accuracy.

Analyze and compare data across multiple databases, including OCA, WebCRIMs, PSYCKES and eJusticeNY.

Develop and maintain an organized filing system for all administrative and case records to ensure accessibility for program staff.

Respond accurately and timely to judicial inquiries and attorney correspondence.

Assist court parties with compliance/non‑compliance inquiries and matters.

Participate in peer review and quality assurance activities to improve data management.

Analyze Power BI, Salesforce reports and other databases for trends to assist program teams in serving participants more effectively.

Document and disseminate findings of data analysis constructively and aid the team with solutions for data management and program delivery.

Work a regular schedule, adhere to shift changes, and perform duties assigned by supervisors and senior staff.

Participate in supervision, case review, staff meetings, and in‑service trainings to develop professional skills.

Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Allow one work‑from‑home day per week at supervisory discretion.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree and at least 2 years of data entry and data management experience, including running reports within a community‑based organization (support staff, evaluator, or direct service provider).

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment and independently.

Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of participants and staff.

Preferred Skills

Fluency in Spanish.

Database development, management, and analysis skills.
