We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Help Desk Specialist to join our dynamic IT team.
Tasks
As a Help Desk Specialist, you will play a crucial role in analyzing our customer's information systems, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system specifications, and ensure seamless implementation of changes. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong collaboration and team-oriented approach Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Handles inquiries from users for multiple applications. Performs basic user-problem analyses for the help desk Assists in conducting periodic user satisfaction surveys and tracking user problem trends Performs basic user-problem analyses for the help desk. Qualifications: Serves as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems Provide a high level of customer service to end users on a daily basis Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to validate system functionality and performance Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they effectively utilize the government-provided IT systems Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions Adhere to all Enterprise-wide security policies related to security and integrity of District-owned Resources Ability to multi-task and must be able to work in a team environment Well-developed presentation, telephone and writing skills.
