Position Electrical field Inspector

This 40‑hour‑per‑week role is onsite in our Tempe office and is not remote.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Observe contractor and consultant activities during construction and provide photos and discrepancy reports as needed.
Observe electrical installation for good workmanship and NEC compliance.
Review installation versus the contract documents.
Review shop drawings and RFI submittals.
Observe start‑up and commissioning efforts.
Witness megger testing of power cables.
Witness wire continuity testing, instrument calibration, and loop check activities.
Perform electrical and instrumentation field data gathering.
Perform field verification of control panels and electrical distribution systems.
Keep track of the progress/schedule of all projects going on at the facilities.
Witness circuit breaker settings and arc flash labeling on electrical equipment.
Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years electrical, instrumentation, and industrial controls experience, preferably in the water/wastewater industry.
Understanding and ability to interpret NFPA 70 (NEC), 70E, and NFPA 820 as required.
Ability to read and understand single‑line diagrams, power plans, control schematics, conduit block diagrams, P&IDs, and control descriptions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform work with minimal supervision.
Experience with arc flash equipment labeling.
