Base pay range: $104,349 – $161,313 per year.
We are seeking a
Supervisory Financial Management Specialist
to support acquisition programs at the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC) in Los Angeles, California.
Responsibilities
Formulate and execute budgets in complex and volatile environments.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, cost, earned value, and other functions to integrate data into budget products.
Proactively produce and maintain financial analyses ahead of requests.
Develop new analyses to identify budgetary risks and opportunities.
Key Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of program management and strategic planning processes.
Ability to encourage new ideas and manage resources strategically.
Skill in working with customers to assess needs and resolve problems.
Ability to persuade others to accept recommendations and negotiate solutions.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to organize work, set priorities, and coordinate with other organizations.
Ability to identify problems and use sound judgment to make recommendations.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret security clearance.
Pre‑employment drug testing and random drug testing required.
Handle sensitive classified information according to regulations.
May be required to work overtime and travel by military or commercial aircraft.
Must file an OGE‑450 “Confidential Financial Disclosure Report” within 30 days of assuming the position and annually thereafter.
Attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training.
Must maintain a Financial Management Level 2 Certified designation per NDAA 2012.
Eligible only for situational telework and temporary duty assignments.
Position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first.
