We are a rapidly growing company in need of an HR Specialist to help us scale.
Role Description This is a full-time Human Resources Specialist role based in Edina, MN, with the flexibility of a hybrid work model allowing for partial work-from-home arrangements. The Human Resources Specialist will oversee HR functions, including running weekly payroll, creating and administering HR policies, managing employee benefits, tracking and managing PTO requests, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. They will be responsible for personnel management, recruitment, onboarding, and providing support to both leadership and staff. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining employee satisfaction and facilitating a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and experience in Human Resources, especially HR Management and compliance with HR Policies
Proficiency in managing Employee Benefits and understanding related regulatory requirements
Skills in Personnel Management, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations
Ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and maintain a team-oriented approach
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus
Previous experience in a boutique or small business environment is advantageous
Proficiency with HR software and tools
Salary Range Eligible for medical, dental, and 401k
