Responsibilities
As a respiratory therapist, you treat residents with temporary or chronic respiratory conditions.
You conduct diagnostic tests to determine the respiratory conditions of your residents.
You create and maintain the respiratory section of resident care plans.
You provide therapy to improve the respiratory conditions of your residents.
Qualifications
Current and valid RRT for the State of Illinois
Knowledge of physiology and the respiratory system
Empathy and compassion
At least one year experience in long-term care
