Position Summary A variety of shared responsibilities in a busy practice. Utilizes nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol guidelines in a decision‑making capacity to provide timely and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities
Telephone triage
Annual wellness visits
Medication refills
New consult evaluation
Patient education
Perform clerical functions, standard duties of a Medical Assistant, and environmental duties to support team objectives
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program
Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
Licensed in the State of Michigan
1 year of RN experience required; new graduates must apply to the RN residency program (three times a year: February, July, October)
Specialty credentialing preferred according to clinical nursing practice specialty area
For Grand Rapids ADN holders: must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
New Graduate Requirements New graduate nurses should apply directly to the RN residency or wait list residency. This is only for registered nurses with one year of experience.
