To be eligible for hire, you must be able to commute into the Yardley, PA office 3 days/week.
THE POSITION Reporting to the Manager, Business Development, the Business Development Specialist will be responsible for outbound outreach and securing meetings and generating new business with pharmaceutical, biotech and biopharmaceutical companies. Successful candidates will have a great attitude, diligence for cold outreach and a thrill from securing and engaging new prospective clients.
This role will maintain consistent warm and cold outreach through sales engagement technology, across email, phone, voicemail, and LinkedIn outreach. This individual will maintain a current prospect list and consistently find new relevant prospects using technologies including but not limited to:
Salesforce.com
Apollo
High Velocity Sales (Sales Engagement)
ZoomInfo
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Drift
Excel
DocuSign
Success will be defined by new meetings generated for the Commercial Business Development team to support the strategic growth of the company. This individual will have a high degree of collaboration with colleagues across the globe in various positions of leadership. This role has excellent exposure within a matrix organization and opportunity for growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reach, educate, and influence existing or prospective life science clients to consider engaging EVERSANA’s global commercialization services
Secure future meetings for the Commercial Business Development team by leading the initial outreach strategies via written and verbal communication grounded in strategic messaging, targeting and segmentation exercises
Manage all outbound activities, including cold calls and emails, with contacts at large, mid and emerging pharmaceutical companies
Maintain awareness of industry trends and connect to EVERSANA’s value prop to drive interest among buyers
Consistent research and participation in internal training to ensure understanding of customer needs and requirements
Ensuring leads are properly followed up
Meeting monthly/quarterly metrics and targets
Writing relevant and captivating emails that open conversations with prospects
Demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities:
Education (Bachelor’s degree required)
Experience and/or Training (1-2 years of business development and/or inside/outbound sales experience)
Technology/Equipment (Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
Preferred qualifications:
Education (Bachelor’s degree required)
Experience and/or Training (2 years of demonstrated success generating new business meetings)
Technology/Equipment (Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands. Maintain a secure and stable environment to work remotely and be camera-ready for internal and external meetings.

Compensation $51,500-$51,500 per year
