The position assists with various clerical, administrative and customer service tasks, in addition to other duties, in the fast‑paced, daily operation of a service center.
Responsibilities
Regular communication with customers and ABF Freight management to ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight and complete customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
Experience in billing, collections, tracing, ten‑key and OS&D.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be able to follow instructions and procedures, required.
Must be organized and able to multi‑task and prioritize workload, required.
Must manage time efficiently and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines, required.
Must be willing to work evenings and on an as‑needed basis, required.
Computer Skills
Good typing/data entry and clerical skill, preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook), preferred.

Compensation
This is an hourly position paid weekly.

In accordance with the California Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the starting pay for this position is $29.34 to $31.74 per hour with overtime paid after 8 hours for full‑time employees.
