Job Description Kokosing Industrial is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support visibility and engagement within the Water & Wastewater and/or Industrial & Power markets. The role executes business‑development plans, prospects new clients, nurtures existing relationships, attends industry events, leads proposal efforts, and manages contacts and leads using a CRM.
Desired Experience
Minimum 3 years in the water/wastewater industry (5+ years preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, construction management or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics, preferred but not required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Excel in a collaborative, team environment where every voice matters
Execute the Business Development Plan for assigned areas
Service the existing client base and maintain relationships
Identify potential clients through research and relationship building
Maintain a comprehensive CRM data set (leads, opportunities, contacts, companies, competitors)
Coordinate meetings between client decision‑makers and the company’s practice leaders
Support proposal development, including proposal approach, schedule, task assignments, and production management
Attend industry events to expand network and promote Kokosing
Participate in key industry groups at local, state, and national levels
Perform other duties as assigned
