MBS is hiring a Contract Order Initiation Specialist in Mason, OH. This position is full-time, temp to hire opportunity. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review of new machine order paperwork received from sales to ensure all information is complete and accurate. Communicate with sales or inside sales to correct any inaccuracies. Obtain sales and credit approval for each order. Set up project builds in SAP for new machine turnkey and integration project orders, following guidelines to comply with revenue recognition rules. Enter budgets in SAP from PV1 tool for each machine order. Plan revenue and costs using PV1 for each machine order. Consider transfer pricing for machines sold through Canadian and Mexican entities related to project setup and sales order requests. Submit accurate sales order requests to accounting, entering info into BOT with the new ODS system. Maintain support documentation for each machine order on SharePoint and Jira. Manage machine change orders, including updating PV1 files, SAP project info, revenue, costs, and budgets, and submitting change requests. Upload supporting documents to SharePoint and update task statuses in Jira. Review open MC projects to identify those ready for final accounting TECO, working with Install, Material, and Purchasing teams. Review PV1 options to determine project TECO obligations at month-end, including materials and DIFs. REQUIREMENTS
Strong knowledge of SAP project structure, reporting, and navigation. Expertise in Company Product Structure. Experience with SharePoint and Jira. At least 3 years of SAP Project module experience. 3+ years proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and collaborative environments like SharePoint. Some basic accounting admin experience; SharePoint and Jira experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift/move 50+ lbs and perform physical activities such as reaching, grasping, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling. Good hand/eye coordination and ability to stand for extended periods. Seniority level
