Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as ordered by physicians. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques to obtain the best possible images. Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, adhering to all safety protocols. Review and analyze images for quality and accuracy. Qualifications of a Radiologic Technologist:
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography. State licensure in Connecticut or eligibility to obtain it. Experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred, but not required. Strong knowledge of radiologic safety standards and protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
