CMM Programmer And Quality Inspector

We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer and Quality Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CMM machines using PC-DMIS, inspecting machined components, and performing both 1st Article and final inspections. This role supports in-process inspections on the shop floor and requires accurate documentation of all work performed. The candidate will recognize quality issues, communicate with management, assist with Return Material Authorizations (RMA), and support the Quality team with ISO and ITAR compliance. Responsibilities

Program and set up CMM machines using PC-DMIS. Inspect machined components in both low and high-volume settings. Perform 1st Article and final inspections. Support in-process inspections on the shop floor as needed. Accurately document all work performed on inspection reports and traveler. Recognize quality issues and communicate effectively with management. Assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes. Support the Quality team in maintaining ISO and ITAR compliance. Essential Skills

5 years or more of quality inspection experience in the medical or aerospace device machined components industry. CMM setup and operation experience. Proficiency in using PC-DMIS. Strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to read Engineering Drawings. Ability to recognize and identify quality issues both visually and dimensionally. Additional Skills & Qualifications

While we primarily focus on medical device parts, 20% of our work involves aerospace components. We are ISO certified and maintain a clean room for assembling neuro-implantable devices. The parts we manufacture range in size from a pen dot to the size of a quarter, with some larger parts for aerospace applications. Job Type & Location
