Senior Helpers Caregiver

As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you'll use your skills, empathy, and professionalism to deliver consistent, high-quality care that strengthens the lives of our clients and their families. We are seeking dependable, experienced caregivers who can confidently support clients throughout Fort Collins and the surrounding areas. What You'll Do:
As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you will consistently demonstrate behaviors that promote dignity, independence, and trust. On a typical day, you will: Build Meaningful Relationships
Initiate friendly, engaging conversations that make clients feel heard and valued. Participate in clients' preferred activitiessuch as gardening, scrapbooking, or playing gamesto encourage social engagement. Support Daily Living with Professionalism
Assist clients with walking, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and other personal care tasks while maintaining their comfort and safety. Prepare simple, nutritious meals and support safe eating routines. Promote Safety and Independence
Observe clients' mobility, behavior, and physical or cognitive changes and report concerns promptly through our communication app. Follow care plans accurately and adjust your approach to meet each client's daily needs. Maintain Accurate Documentation
Use the electronic caregiver mobile app to clock in/out, record completed tasks, and update client notes in a timely and detailed manner. Contribute to a Positive Team Environment
Communicate clearly with families, supervisors, and team members to ensure continuity of care. Respond to schedule updates and care plan changes with professionalism and reliability. Key Responsibilities

Provide safe assistance with bathing, mobility, transfers, positioning, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, medication reminders, feeding, and dressing. Companionship & Household Support
Engage clients in conversation and recreation. Prepare light meals, perform light housekeeping, manage laundry, assist with shopping and errands, and provide incidental transportation. Help clients maintain an organized and comfortable home environment. Client-Centered Flexibility

High school diploma or GED. At least one year of professional caregiving experience. 18 years of age or older. Legal identification and authorization to work in the U.S. Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts. Ability to use a smartphone for electronic scheduling, communication, and documentation. Senior Helpers provides non-medical, in-home support to help older adults age with dignity and independence. We specialize in personal care, companion care, transitional care, respite care, Alzheimer's and dementia support, Parkinson's care, and more.
