What You Will Get To Do This role supports proposal preparation, contract negotiation, administration, and customer contact to ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer expectations. You will be an embedded member of the program management team, supporting program success and new growth opportunities across the portfolio with a focus on US government production and support contracts.

Responsibilities

Act as primary interface with customers for contractual issues; monitor contract and program to ensure obligations are communicated and understood.

Participate in contract proposal preparation, negotiations, administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in line with company policies and legal requirements.

Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information.

Review terms and conditions to address risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, and other risk areas; recommend mitigation strategies.

Assist management in achieving financial goals related to cash management, EBIT, and sales.

Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters.

Enter and maintain contract data in Contract Management System and/or Enterprise Accounting System.

Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and invoice submission.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications for Contract Administrator

Bachelor’s degree – 2 years of experience in DoD contracts or subcontracts; or 1 year with a Master’s; or 6 years of direct DoD contracts/subcontracts experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience with proposals (bid strategy, ToCP compliance, coordination with DCMA/DCAA).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe.

Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and/or government regulations.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Contract Administrator

Bachelor’s degree – 5 years of experience in DoD contracts or subcontracts; or 3 years with a Master’s; or 9 years of direct DoD contracts/subcontracts experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience with proposals (bid strategy, ToCP compliance, coordination with DCMA/DCAA).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe.

Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and/or government regulations.

Preferred Qualifications for Both Levels

Experience working with SAP.

Primary Level Salary Range:

$65,500.00 – $98,300.00 Secondary Level Salary Range:

$81,400.00 – $122,000.00

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonuses, and long‑term incentives for executive positions. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions.
