Atlantic Medical Management (AMM) is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our organization. AMM is a corporate medical management firm dedicated to improving patient care. The primary responsibility will be to develop, manage, and maintain the organization’s compliance program. The home base for this position is Jacksonville, NC, with travel required to multiple sites within North Carolina. Responsibilities include: Design and implement programs and policies to ensure compliance with government and legal regulations Monitor laws and regulations impacting company business processes Prepare and present compliance reports to management for informed decision-making Conduct investigations to identify and resolve compliance issues Provide training to staff on compliance procedures and policies Liaise with HR to ensure disciplinary actions for violations Conduct or oversee internal and external compliance audits Analyze payer contracts and third-party agreements to mitigate non-compliance risks Facilitate contract negotiations and communication on behalf of the organization Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field (preferred) Minimum of 3 years experience in the medical field Ability to work independently and in teams Strong organizational skills in results-oriented environments Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistance program, AFLAC, and paid time off Travel Required
