Backed by Lightspeed, B Capital & Beenext (Raised over $10M), Gushwork.ai, based out of New York and Bengaluru, is building AI agents that help small and medium businesses around the world grow their business by getting recommended by AI search engines when a potential customer is looking for a product or service. We enable businesses to turn AI search engines like Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity into a reliable & consistent marketing channel to get new customers. We are currently focussed on non‑tech industries such as manufacturing, industrial distributors and home services.
We are backed by some of the top tier VCs of the world and are one of the fastest growing AI companies being built out of India. We work with over 200+ customers and are building a team to 10x this in the next 12 months. What You’ll Own
Scale the organization:
Lead strategic hiring and talent sourcing as we expand every function.
Run the boardroom:
Prepare investor updates, fundraising materials, and quarterly board decks; maintain the external investor tracker.
Translate ambiguity into action:
Deconstruct complex or undefined problems into clear, measurable execution plans.
Drive cross‑functional alignment:
Orchestrate initiatives across growth, product, and operations to amplify leadership bandwidth.
Institutionalize operating rigor:
Design cadences, dashboards, and OKR systems that help a hyper‑growth company stay focused.
Collaborate globally:
Significant overlap with US work hours to work directly with investors, partners, and leadership across time zones.
Who You Are
Founder‑in‑the‑making:
Strategic, execution‑oriented, and hungry to build.
Pedigree:
Graduate of a top MBA or undergraduate program.
Experience:
3+ years total experience, including
2+ years in a fast‑growth startup (Biz Ops, Generalist, or CoS function) and preferably 2+ years in consulting, VC, IB, or PE.
Traits:
First‑principles thinker with extreme ownership.
Analytical, structured, and detail‑obsessed.
Exceptional written & verbal communicator.
Thrives in ambiguity, learns fast, and doesn’t wait for instruction.
