Provide high level of service to all retail and installer customers and support store management in assigned tasks. Follow and promote company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.). Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly manner and assist with merchandise selection. Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed. Complete assigned company training relevant to the position. Answer store calls per policy, look up parts and quote prices, recommend premium/related items, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee. Manage cash drawer, accept cash/checks, make change, and process credit card transactions. Process exchanges and returns per policy, address and resolve customer complaints. Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, freight receival, stocking, fronting, facing, and cleaning. Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing merchandise returns for shipment to distribution center, and assist with inventory tasks. Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training and requirements are met. Perform in-store services for customers where allowed by state/local laws (e.g., install wipers, test/charge batteries, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules). Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate (driving record must meet company requirements). All other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Required: Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; ability to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in-store simultaneously. Desired: Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
