Respiratory Therapist Department: BGMC Respiratory Therapy Location: Buffalo General Medical Center Location of Job: US:NY:Buffalo Work Type: Part-Time Scheduled Work Hours: 7p-7:30a Shift 3 Job Description Responsible for evaluating, recommending, educating and administering selected Respiratory Care to all patients requiring treatment. Education And Credentials AAS Degree in Respiratory Care, New York State Respiratory Therapist License upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS)
required within 90 days from hire. For BGMC- all RT's hired on or before 1/26/2021 will have until 7/31/2021 to obtain ACLS and must remain current. New hires/transfers as of 1/26/2021 must obtain ACLS within six (6) months of date of hire/transfer and must remain current. Thirteen (13) hour shift employees, who bid on a position in another thirteen (13) hour shift department, and who is accepted for that position, will have the right to continue to be scheduled thirteen (13) hours even if the job is posted as a twelve and one-half (12 ) hour shift.
