The Leasing Consultant welcomes prospective residents to the community, coordinates tours, and responds to leasing inquiries. The position interacts with current residents on day‑to‑day issues, coordinates lease renewals, and serves as a central point of communication between residents, management, and maintenance teams.

What You’ll Do To Make a Difference
Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors
Effectively lease apartments and sell property products and services in accordance with budget
Ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents
Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and major competition
Assist with marketing activities to position Bell communities as communities of choice
Coordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines
Complete lease packets and files for each resident including the lease, all addendums and other forms
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
Ensure proper documentation
Follow up with residents throughout the lease
Receive resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow‑up
What You Bring To Our Team
Understanding of and alignment with Bell Core Values
High school diploma or GED
1+ years' customer service experience; hospitality or apartment leasing role
Support of BAL strategic drivers
Ability to provide exceptional customer service
Teamwork in a team environment
Presentation of a professional image
Resourcefulness and organization
Ability to successfully work on a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Exceptional customer service skills and a professional image
Good decision‑making skills and knowledge of how businesses work
Physical Requirements Of The Job
Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, and hazardous materials
Comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects
