Blue Chip Talent in partnership with a professional services organization is seeking a skilled HR Specialist. This role is responsible for supporting HR Generalists by triaging employee inquiries, ensuring HR data accuracy, and providing compliance and onboarding support.
Job Duties
Provide administrative support across all areas of the HR function
Triage HR-related requests and inquiries via helpdesk ticketing systems
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
Generate reports and track key HR metrics
Support local onboarding efforts, including I-9 verification and pre-boarding tasks
Assist with documentation related to employee lifecycle events such as hires, terminations, and status changes
Collaborate with HR team members to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution
Maintain a service-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement
Skills & Experience Required
2+ years of experience with HR systems such as SuccessFactors Employee Central, Workday, or similar
2+ years of experience using Jira or similar ticket management tools
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate or Bachelor’s degree or relevant HR coursework
Familiarity with onboarding and I-9 verification processes
Experience supporting HR Generalists or within shared services teams
Knowledge of HR compliance documentation and reporting
