Base Pay Range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage mechanical design projects within the MEP scope.
Participate in team planning sessions and contribute to project scheduling.
Prepare assessment reports and preliminary system descriptions for HVAC and related systems.
Coordinate with clients, design teams, and project managers throughout all phases.
Develop design concepts for HVAC systems, controls, and associated building systems.
Perform energy modeling and load calculations.
Conduct site visits for data collection and verification.
Select appropriate equipment and materials to meet design requirements.
Produce detailed engineering drawings and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Review shop drawings and product submittals for compliance.
Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
Monitor construction progress and perform site inspections.
Prepare punch lists and final project reports.
Engage in professional development and knowledge-sharing activities.
Qualifications
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and building systems.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
Minimum 5 years of HVAC design experience; plumbing/fire protection experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autodesk Revit.
