Review upfront underwriting data and tools to assess risk
Determine value, order, and review additional underwriting requirements
Finalize cases and process decisions using system workbenches
Data entry of medical history to inform underwriting decisions
Adhere to productivity, quality, and performance standards while demonstrating dependability and organization
What is Required (Qualifications)
7‑10+ years of Life Insurance Underwriting experience with proven proficiency in underwriting processes
Ability to handle advanced decision‑making authorities without a co‑signature (1 million or higher)
Effective written and verbal communication skills for building relationships
Critical thinking skills and attention to detail for risk assessment
Ability to develop specific goals and prioritize work effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with BGA and Trial preferred
Completion of LOMA 280/281 and 290/291; actively working toward AALU, FLMI, and FALU
