We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ironworker with a strong background in pre‑engineered metal building (PEMB) construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient erection, alignment, and installation of structural steel components in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Job Duties

Reading Blueprints: Interpret and understand blueprints and schematics to determine the specifications and requirements for construction

Installation and Assembly: Install and reinforce iron and steel structures, including beams, girders, and columns, ensuring they are secure and meet design

Operating Equipment: Use various tools and machinery, such as cranes, welding machines, and cutting torches, to cut, bend, and weld metal components into desired shapes and positions

Maintenance and Repair: Inspect and maintain existing iron and steel structures, performing repairs as necessary to ensure their longevity and safety

Skills And Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in steel erection and pre‑engineered metal building construction

Knowledge of steel erection tools, equipment, and best practices

Ability to work at heights, in outdoor conditions, and on active construction sites

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to job‑site safety

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Valid chauffeur's license and medical examiner's certificate (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Travel may include overnight stays depending on job location and scope.

Work may occasionally exceed 40 hours per week, including weekends or off‑shift hours as required.
