Our client is seeking a
Senior Mechanical Engineer (Onsite)
to support the design and delivery of
mission-critical data center projects . This role focuses on leading mechanical system design for high-availability environments, working closely with multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction and commissioning.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing
HVAC and cooling solutions
for data centers, including chilled water systems, air handling, and mechanical plant layouts, ensuring reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design for data center infrastructure, including cooling and HVAC systems
Perform and review load calculations, system sizing, and energy analysis
Produce and review drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
Coordinate with electrical, structural, and architectural teams
Provide onsite technical leadership during construction, supporting RFIs, submittals, and commissioning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
7+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within data centers or mission-critical facilities
Strong knowledge of data center cooling systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
PE or working toward licensure preferred
