Lafayette Group is seeking qualified and team-oriented individuals to work with federal government organizations in support of national cybersecurity programs. The Business Requirements Analyst works with both internal and external stakeholders to drive discovery, elicitation, development, documentation, and validation of requirements for critical projects. This role is responsible for the development and deployment of a knowledge management framework. Daily responsibilities for this role include gathering, developing, analyzing, and validating technical and project requirements and ensuring that requirements align with the client's operational priorities and resource availability. This role requires a blend of skills and experience with defining business needs, stakeholder engagement, knowledge management, strategy, and project management.

Job Responsibilities
Gather requirements and develop project artifacts such as workflows, use cases, and process updates under senior guidance.
Identify gaps, risks, or dependencies and elevate them as appropriate.
Conduct stakeholder interactions and engagement activities under the direction of senior guidance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate and align related workstreams.
Summarize key information and produce briefing materials as an individual contributor.
Collect and organize project data to support analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis, translation, and synthesis to inform project decision-points.
Perform project management tasks, including tracking schedules, maintaining action items, and updating project documentation.
Prepare clear action-orientated meeting materials that capture key notes, decisions, and follow-up needs.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in information technology, business analysis, management, or similar field.
5+ years' experience in information technology, cybersecurity, or business operations within federal, state, or large enterprise environments.
Expert level experience in requirements management including elicitation, documentation, and traceability to solution implementation, design artifacts, documentation, and tests.
Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to remain open-minded, flexible and curious in problem-solving approach.
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills; diplomatic and an excellent listener.
Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, and work on several projects simultaneously; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with project management concepts and tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
US citizenship with an ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (EOD).
Desired Skills
Active TS security clearance and SCI eligibility.
Prior consulting or program support experience with DHS, CISA, or other federal cybersecurity organizations.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Service Now, and other similar tools.
Ability to take initiative and work independently while maintaining excellent communication with project leadership.

Salary Range $75,000-$120,000
Federal Contracts This position involves working on federal contracts that require all workers on the contract to be U.S. Citizens. Additionally, some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Contingent Hire This position will be hired contingent upon winning the Federal contract work.
